About Me

Hi, I’m Pol!

I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been working as a Virtual Assistant (VA) for the past seven years — and let me tell you, it’s been the most life-changing journey.

How It All Began

When I first started as a VA, my biggest goal was simple: to be able to stay home with my two beautiful kids. I wanted a career that gave me the freedom to work around nap times, school runs, and everyday chaos — and being a virtual assistant gave me exactly that.

Over the years, I’ve grown my VA business from scratch, learning the ins and outs of time management, client communication, systems, and everything in between. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it.

 Why I’m Here

Now, I’m on a mission to share everything I’ve learnt with others who want the same freedom. Whether you’re dreaming of ditching your 9-to-5, craving more flexibility, or just looking for a way to do meaningful work from home — I’m here to help.

My ultimate dream? To see more people building businesses that work for their lives, not the other way around.

What I Love About Being a VA

There are so many reasons I love what I do — but here are a few of my favourites:

  • Flexibility: I get to choose when and how I work, which means I can be present for my kids and run a successful business.

  • Freedom to travel: Even during busy client periods, I can take my laptop and hit the road. Whether it’s a weekend away or a longer trip, my work can come with me.

  • Family time: My family lives hours away, and being a VA means I can travel to see them without having to take time off. I can pop online, get work done, and still be there for the people who matter most.

It’s this kind of freedom that I want more people to experience — and I truly believe it’s possible for anyone with the right support and know-how.

A Bit About Life Outside the Laptop

We live by the beach, and honestly, it’s my happy place. I love starting (or ending) the day with a beach walk, a dip in the ocean, and our dogs by my side.

When I’m not working or chasing after kids, you’ll usually find me crafting. I’m a big fan of quilting, cross stitching, and crochet — it’s my way of unwinding and getting creative offline. I also have a bit of an obsession with indoor plants (I may have turned my home into a bit of a jungle!) and I love heading out for a hike whenever I can.

There’s nothing better than getting out into nature, breathing in the fresh air, and resetting with a good walk through the bush.
